Here, in Derby, we are passionate about Media because we believe that in COMMUNICATION it massive influences the world and specially this new generation. From a Biblical Worldview, we believe that ideas have consequences and we want to co-create with God in this area and be the change we want to see.
Today, we do that by serving YWAM across the globe, our community and churches with our skills and ideas. Our heart is to use our vocation to disciple the nations, fighting against everything that is evil and trap us into situations that do not reflect order, goodnness, beauty, abundance – dignity – the character of God.

“Hi! My name is Fernanda Souza and I oversee the media team in Derby. I’ve been working with media in Derby since 2018 and we are still building our team. I am a Graphic Designer, with a few years of experience in journalism covering what brands and companies are doing to influence the world. In 2019 I joined YWAM full time and since then I’ve been in Derby, serving the city, the base and other nations too.”
